Education in Finland
Dr. Pasi Sahlberg, director, CIMO, Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture (an agency designed to encourage international cooperation and mobility) and author of Finnish Lessons, will describe a two-part strategy to encourage equity in schools and the broader society and their contribution to Finland’s remarkable education success, as demonstrated by consistently high scores on the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA).
